OS X Mavericks updated with iBOOK:
Apple seeds OS X Mavericks developer preview 5 with iBook. This is a fifth pre view, 4th preview came two weeks before in the end of July. Some minor improvements with small bugs fixed in this version.
So what’s new in this OS X Mavericks ?
- It includes iBook, thus, gives chance to developer to test iBook.
- Better support for multiple monitors.
- Finder tabs.
- Improvement of performance and battery consumption.
- New maps
- Update to safari and calendar.
- New productivity features.
- Significance performance boost to iPhoto.
Alongwith the mavericks update Apple also pushed new version of OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.5 to developers. Developers can receive the update via the Software Update tool in the Mac App Store. We expect 2 more previews from Apple, before making it official.
