We all know that this emerging smartphone market is being ruled by iOS and Android or may be Windows Mobile too but every Android user wants a Nokia with forked Android Jelly Bean or KitKat, don’t loose your hope fellows! Nokia is actually working on a codenamed ‘Normandy’ phone which is rumoured to be a budget phone like the budget Asha series by Nokia. evleaks also twitted an image of the same with same codename back last month. But recently we have also heard that Nokia is being brought up by Microsoft , so will this Normandy with loaded Android gonna debut before this deal or what? No such thing has been mentioned by The Verge.

Nokia has been building its own Android phone according to multiple sources familiar with the company’s plans. Codenamed Normandy, and known internally at Nokia under a number of other names, the handset is designed as the next step in low-end phones from the Finnish smartphone maker. We understand that Nokia has been testing “Normandy” with a special “forked” variant of Android that’s not aligned with Google’s own version, akin to what Amazon does with its Kindle Fire line.
