iPad 5, iPad Mini 2 to be announced on 22nd October: AllthingsD

We have been bundled up with iPad5 rumors till date. Now AllThingsD reported that Apple is going to announce its next generation iPad5 and iPad Mini on October 22 event. And as per the rumors, iPad5 is thinner smaller than iPad4 and will feature 64bit CPU. It is also expected that it will have fingerprint sensor which we have already seen in iPhone 5S.

It will have a new design fairly upgraded its previous version and it may have upgraded 8 mega pixels camera system. It is still not clear that October 22 event is just for iPad5 or other things also, which Apple is said to come up with. According to AllThingsD:

People familiar with Apple’s plans tell AllThingsD that the company will hold its next invitation-only event on Tuesday October 22. The focal point of the gathering will the latest updates to the company’s iPad line, but new Mac Pro and OS X Mavericks will likely get some stage time as well, I’m told.

The other things which are expected to be released in the event are retina display iPad, announcement regarding OS X Mavericks, all new Mac pro.
