Is that core iOS on Nokia N900?

Winocm, the guy who was working under a iOS port to non-apple device, has just came up with a proof of concept of running core iOS on Nokia N900. Basically, Winocm was able to run XNU Kernal, the core part of iOS and MAC on Nokia N900, which means no user interface sort of thing , neither he will be working on that. So its nothing like you can just get an image of iOS and pack it in any non-Apple device, its getting core iOS 4.3.5 on non-apple hardware without any user interface support.

Winocm also stated:

Darwin is the core operating system that lies under both Mac OS X and iPhone OS. It is the true core foundation that bridges the kernel to the actual UI above. (SpringBoard/loginwindow/etc).

With the help of @plus_chan and his Nokia N900, I present to you, Darwin/ARM running on a Nokia N900. (Though, this is @stroughtonsmith’s N900. Whatever.)

The support is not limited to Nokia N900, various ARM’s and Texas Instruments along with few old generation iOS device can also pack this stuff. Its actually a very appreciable task done by this developer and we would like to see more on this in upcoming future to extend the availability of iPhone operating system on various other devices.
