JOLLA SAILFISH MOBILE
This Finnish start-up Jolla will start shipping its first round of smartphones featuring Sailfish OS from November 27(PCWorld). The smartphone will land with a 4.5 inches qHD screen, Qualcomm 1.4 GHz dual core chip, 1GB RAM with Bluetooth 4.0 and LTE support. Following the trend, this Sailfish OS phone will have a micro-sim slot in it, 16GB of internal storage and a micro-sd card slot to further extend the storage. The only major point for this phone which makes it different from Windows phone is its ability to run thousands of Android apps through Yandex Store.
The only negative thing in this phone would be its pricing. This Jolla phone is very highly priced i.e. €399 ($535) without a contract or sim free version which might not give some competition to iPhone 5C, Nexus 5, LG G2, Xperia Z1 etc. But hold! The user-interface of this smartphones looks killer with some basic gestures to operate it, much similar to BlackBerry 10 OS.
