LG coming up with Quad HD AH-IPS LCD panel for Smartphone display

LG reveals the first Quad HD AH-IPS LCD display. The highest resolution display which comes with 538ppi which is highest till date. Before that HTC ONE has 469ppi. This display is packed up with 5.5 inch screen with 1440×2560 resolution. Display is one of the important features of Smartphone and the technology used in it matters the most. In its last Smartphone LG G2, LG provided FULL HD panel which was introduced as world’s first full HD panel Smartphone.

According to LG, this display shows 4 times more pixel as compared to HD screen. That means clearer picture, more vivid color and much improved contrast. The panel will bring blue ray equivalent video in Smartphone.

Commenting on the launch, Dr. Byeong-koo Kim, Vice President and Head of LG Display’s IT and Mobile Development Group said, “LG Display, which pioneered the high resolution mobile market with introduction of the world’s first full-HD Smartphone panel in 2012, again opens new possibilities with the successful application of QHD technology. With this breakthrough, LG Display will continue to raise new standards for mobile resolution and lead the mobile display market.”

The new Quad HD display Smartphone will be more thinner and it is supposed to be the sleekest Smartphone in the world.
