New iPad mini without retina display to land this year?
Apple is going the other way. The new iPad mini without retina display is in process by making the processor fast by upgrading it to A6( same as of iPhone5)Recently Google nexus7 comes up with Full HD 1920×200 pixel resolution while Apple’s 7” iPad mini has 1024×768 pixel screen.
Report says that Apple is testing new iPad mini without Retina display but with A6 chip the same we have in iPhone 5.
“Apple is testing a new iPad mini that includes a faster processor but not a Retina display, according to references in the iOS 7 SDK sent to us by a developer,” Mark Gurman reports for 9to5Mac.
“The references were located inside of a hidden file that lists all supported iOS 7 devices, and the information has been corroborated with details found within the iOS 7 beta operating system itself,” Gurman reports. “According to the provided information, Apple is considering three new iPad mini models: iPad ’2,8,’ iPad ’2,9,’ and iPad ’2,10.’ The respective code names for the devices are J75, J76, and J77. This point to one Wi-Fi only model and two cellular compatible models (just like the current iPad Mini).”
Gurman reports, “From the references, we can also infer that this potential iPad mini model will lack a Retina display.”
So that means Apple is up with a devise that might not give them much profit. Yet you will get a Hassel-free working device which is good thing if you ignore that retina thing slightly.
