Reliance Jio 4G might launch in September, just for Delhi and Mumbai
Every tech junkie in India is already aware of Reliance Jio, India’s 2nd 4G network after Airtel. A good news posted by BGRIndia is that Reliance will launch its Jio 4G service in the Q3 of this year or in-between July to September. They said:
Telecom arm of Reliance Industries, RJIL, is likely to launch its 4G services by September this year starting from Delhi and Mumbai. “Reliance Jio is engaged in building up team for telecom services which is almost done. Telecom services are likely to be launched in third quarter of 2014 — July-September period starting from Delhi and Mumbai,” a source privy of the development said.
No immediate comments were received from the company. RIL may share details of services launch in June. RJio started first trial of its 4G services in Delhi, Mumbai and Jamnagar. The Department of Telecom has allocated 22 million numbers for launch of services.
The source added that company is evaluating devices of Korean firm Samsung and Chinese company ZTE for its customers.
This Reliance Jio 4G service will initially land up on Mumbai and Delhi, after that it might get expanded in various metro cities in near future. There were some rumours that Reliance Jio 4G might provide 1GB 4G data for some 20 Rupees only i.e about 25 cents in US currency. The speed of Reliance Jio 4G would be around 49 mbps, the ten times of 3G. Just start downloading your HD movie now and after 3-4 minutes you should be watching the same movie with your family.
