Samsung has officially launched Galaxy Note Edge, first note device with curved display on one edge

Samsung has officially launched its very new Galaxy Note Edge at IFA Berlin. This new device comes with one sided(right side) curved display that will help you swipe through your notifications with the help of its new cases that shows this edged display even when your device is inside the cover. Whenever you put this device to any special type of side open case, you can actually receive your notification just checking the right side curved edge of this device. That’s something really cool. This new curved edge screen is scrollable up to 7 times with various new features. One of them is the camera feature. That round red photo shutter can also be added here. This innovative part can also be used as a completely different screen to enhance multitasking. It covers almost every notification pop that arises from supported apps.

In terms of its specifications, it has got the a bit smaller 5.6″ QHD Super AMOLED display with 2560×1440 pixels. Samsung Galaxy Note Edge also comes loaded with the same 3.7MP selfie camera that Note 4 has got. On its rear side, again it got 16MP Smart OIS camera that will surely enhance your camera experience.

Samsung Galaxy Note Edge comes loaded with Quad-Core based Snapdragon 805 processor clocked at 2.7GHz combined with 3GB RAM. It has a 3,000mAh battery that also got has quick charging feature through which your battery can go till 50% within 30 minutes of charge. In comes with 32/64GB internal storage that can be further expanded till 128GB via micro-SD card.

Galaxy Edge comes in 2 different colours viz. White and Black. Expected sale date could be somewhere around the release date of Galaxy Note 4, in October.
