Sony has officially launched SmartWatch 3, comes loaded with Android Wear
Sony has officially launched its first Android Wear SmartWatch 3 which mainly focuses on your fitness activities. Compatible only with Android 4.3+ devices, tho new smartwatch comes loaded with a Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2GHz and combined with 512MB RAM. Its display measures 1.6″ with 320×320 resolution(square looking). Sony has added “transflective” display on it which will help its user to get proper visibility even in some high sunlight places.
On its battery side, it has been packed over a 420mAh battery which, according to Sony, will keep you alive for 2 days on normal usage and 4 days if its on stand by mode. Sony SmartWatch 3 also comes loaded with NFC connectivity. In order to make connection without NFC, this device is also Bluetooth enabled. Sony has also added the highest level of water resistivity in this device, it is indeed IP68 certified.
Sony’s Lifelong Android app, available on Google Play, is the main source of connection between SmartWatch 3 and Sony’s Android device. This new app along with this “smarter watch” will not only maintain the record of your fitness and activities but they will also tell you about your various entertainment activities like how much music and videos you have already played etc. Your another virtual doctor.
It has been reportedly priced for EUR 230 but expected US price is $230. SmartWatch 3 comes in three different colours viz. Black, Lemon,, Red and White. Till now, we don’t have any accurate release date for this new device but you can expect it somewhere around the end of this month or may be the starting of October.
