Sony Xperia Z3 with improved camera and PlayStation 4 support launched

Sony has officially launched its new Xperia Z3 smartphone that got inherited from Xperia Z2. Without much updating, this device has got an improved camera and a major tweak through which it can add more fun to your PlayStation 4 console. This new Xperia Z3 is now much more thinner than the Xperia Z2. It now measures 7.3mm in its thickness.

Now, let’s discuss various specs of this device:

Sony Xperia Z3 comes loaded with a different MSM8974-AC Snapdragon 801 processor that is clocked at 2.5GHz(vs MSM8974-AB 2.3GHz in Xperia Z2). It has got the same 3GB RAM in it which will further provide you lag free experience. On its display side, Sony has equipped 5.2″ IPS display with 1080p resolution that further has 424ppi density. Sony has also promised that it’s the most bright display with its TRILUMINOS technology that further adds X-Reality and Live Colour engine over it.

On its camera side, Sony has reportedly improved its G-lens this time. The new G-lens is 25mm wide now, giving a much wider image of the scene. Xperia Z3 is having 20.7MP camera which has ISO12800 light sensitivity feature which will help its user to capture better image in dark light. This 20.7MP camera has that same 1/2.3″ Exmor RS sensor which much bigger than the normal one and also comes with various new camera tweaks like Sound Photo, Face in, AR Fun etc. Sony has provided the same S-Force front surround stereo speakers that we saw on Xperia Z2. Sony has also embedded one special feature in this Xperia Z3 through which user can easily communicate with PlayStation 4 device through its PS4 Remote Play app. By the help of that, one can mirror the same screen on its Sony Xperia Z3.

Sony Xperia Z3 comes with an option of 16/32GB internal storage where both can be expanded via micro-SD card slot. Due to its thin body structure, Sony has given 3,100mAh non-removable battery this time(vs 3,200mAh in Z2). It comes in 45 different colour variant i.e. Black, White, Copper Gold, Sea Blue and Light Green.

A dual sim version of Xperia Z3 is also expected.
