Sony has officially launched its 8″ Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact that has got thinnest and lightest body design, all protected with IP58/68 certification, dive with it in water pool. Yes, that’s the highest level of water resistivity certification. Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact measures 213.4 x 123.6 x 6.4 mm and weighs 270g. Both these things makes it the world’s slimmest and lightest tablet. The sleekness of this device is already attracting us.

Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact comes with 8″ IPS LCD Full HD Triluminos display with 275ppi. Sony claims it to be the brightest display that any tablet has ever received. This brightness has been achieved by :
Combined with Sony’s TRILUMINOS™ Display for mobile technology with Live Colour LED, X-Reality™ for mobile and intuitive contrast enhancement, this 8” Full HD display is sharp and vivid even in bright sunlight.
On its camera side, you won’t see any flashlight on its rear panel. It has been equipped with 8.1MP camera with CMOS sensor. This camera can only record 1080p video for you. It also got some common camera features like Auto-Focus, Burst Mode, DIS, Panorama etc. On its front, Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact is having 2.2MP camera which would yield good selfies for you. Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact comes loaded with the same 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor combined with 3GB RAM and Adreno 330 GPU that Xperia Z3 got, for better multitasking ability.
Sony has embedded a non-removable 4,500mAh battery in this slim-trim device that would certainly keep it alive for more than 2 days under normal usage. It also has one sim card slot thru which user can make/receive calls/sms and also access high speed 4G LTE/3G internet. It is NFC and Bluetooth 4.0 enabled.
